Spirit Farm operates under the 501(c)3 Covenant Pathways. As a nonprofit organization, we are a collaborative group of people who come together to share resources, wisdom, encouragement, and support. We all value the health of people and the planet. We show up with our abundant gifts, offering gratitude and blessing others.

We invite you to join us in giving. By doing so, you become an integral part of our mission.

SUPPORT OUR STAFF

We honor our employees who exemplify the mission of Spirit Farm every day. Their spirits bring life to the work we do. Our goal is to pay a fair and living wage while providing educational opportunities. We would like our employees to learn with us as they grow wings to fly. We support the unique dreams they were born to accomplish and hope to be the nest they need in the present moment.

A large percentage of your donations go to support our operating budget and provide us the ability to continue to provide training programs and pay our workers well.

Thank you for your generosity to our organization and our employees.

WATER ACCESS

In the dry and arid conditions of the desert, water is a precious resource. Many farms in the area do not have running water or access to a well, including Spirit Farm. On ancestral lands it is often difficult to gain the permissions to dig a well. We capture rainwater with containment but it is not always enough to sustain the farm and weather is inconsistent. As a result, we often haul water six days a week during the height of our growing season, which is a 2-hour round trip to haul 800 gallons just for our needs.

Our ability to provide water access to local farms in the area has a direct impact on a thriving and healthy food. Currently 35% of the farmers we work with haul water and need greater capacity. It is cost prohibitive to grow your own food under these conditions but it is the healthiest way to live.

Your donation would help us address our access to water. In the short term, we would like to purchase a vehicle to haul and effectively pump water to support our farm and agriculture in the community. A few of the farmers we work with will be getting 2000 gallon tanks this spring to hold water from a grant. We would like to purchase a 2,500-gallon water truck which would support Spirit Farm and the community surrounding us.

Thank you for supporting our efforts to effectively gain access to water.
